Our Summer

Halden is now 1 month old!!! And in that time he has had many outings! I'm so happy he is a summer baby because I can't imagine having to keep him inside for a few weeks. By the time we had been home for a week we had been to 3 doctors appointments. His second weekend home was the Ellis family reunion. It was just over in Fielding, but we were there Friday night and all day Saturday. There was a huge water slide that Tyler enjoyed while Halden and I stayed in the garage with the food and all the babies. There was our baby, Jer and Kristi's, Croyden's, Dave's and Kareena's. They were all born within about a 5 month span. They also played mud volleyball...

Sunday was Bolden's baby blessing. They blessed him at Danny and Annette's home so we were in Fielding again that day. Jer gave Bolden a beautiful blessing and Bolden just stared at him the whole time apparently. I'm a little worried Bolden and Halden will have a little too much fun in the future :)

Halden also met Grandpa Ellis for the first time, at the blessing.

The next weekend was the 4th of July and Dawna's family flew in for a visit. Friday the 4th we went shopping and spent some time in Fielding again. That night we came back to Logan for Ellis family pictures.  Saturday was the cruise in so we got to spend a few hours hanging out on the side of Main eating some pizza with the family.

 

 

Sunday was Halden's blessing day. And boy oh boy this kid is loved! The circle was huge, and sadly Neither grandpa on my side made it up. Grandpa Jensen had to stay home with Grandma, and Grandpa Buck realized how huge the circle was and decided not to go up. There was obviously Tyler, my dad, Haden, Tanner, Chris, Lance S, Brooks, Lee, Travis, Grandpa Ellis, Tyler's dad, Matt, Ryan, Jeremy, Bishop Hastings and Bro. Madsen. Danny & Amanda, Matt & Luna, Eve and Julie & her kids made it too. Sadly we didn't get any pictures with people because an hour into the dinner Halden got hungry. By the time we got back everyone was gone :( But we did get a picture of our family!

Charli also found out she's having a boy!! Halden is so lucky to have close boy cousins on both sides! Also, Brooks got his mission call to Mexico and gave an amazing farewell talk. He'll be an awesome missionary!
